How do I manage this? My best friend's mom (code name Pam) was asking me about her daughter's personal life, and I told her to talk to her daughter (code name Mary) not me. Then I went to Mary and told her to talk to her mom. She goes to Pam and says "Hey, Michele said I should talk to you." and Pam got really mad because apparently I was sharing a private conversation, and then Mary got mad at me because I was talking to her mom about her. Which I wasn't. I said "talk to Mary." and "Mary, you should talk to your mom." I didn't say a darned thing I oughtn't. All I want is to stay a neutral party here. I try to avoid being stuck in the middle of drama, and yet here I am again. And worse, it's someone else's family drama! *sigh*
On a lighter note, today has been a pretty good day. I worked at the elementary school this morning and got to hang out with some kindergarteners. We worked on subtraction, sight words, and counting to 100. :D it was a blast! One little girl gave me a flower at recess, and told me to wear it in my hair for the remainder of the day. It's still there. hahahaha!
I'm still waiting on the debit card I ordered a month ago. I have been back to the bank and re-ordered it, talked to the manager, called the main branch and asked about it, to no avail. The last person I spoke with told me that if it isn't here by today, I should call and cancel it and she'd order an emergency debit card for me. Whatever that is. But it would be here within 3 days, so I'm not complaining.
